EXPERIENCE

Professional experience:

2005-present, associate professor, State Key Laboratory for Physical Chemistry of Solid Surfaces & Department of Chemistry, Xiamen University. Teaching several courses to undergraduate and graduate students. Synthesis, characterization and application of nanostructured materials.

2002-2004, Assistant researcher, the Center for Nano-science and Technology at Xiamen University. In charge of the Tecnai F30 high-resolution TEM laboratory, familiar with operating Tecnai F30 TEM, LEO1530 SEM, Philips XL30 ESEM-TEM, X-ray diffractometer, etc. Several graduate students were conducting experiments related to nanotechnology under my guidance.

Research experience:

Synthesis of a wide range of inorganic functional nanomaterials using various methods, such as laser ablation, glow discharge, and electroless deposition. Investigation of structures and properties of the nanomaterials by electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy and the other spectroscopy techniques (e.g., IR, UV/Vis).

Presiding over projects supported by Chinese National Natural Science Foundation (Grant No.20671078) and Natural Science Foundation of Fujian Province (No. E0310004).
