Frequent JUPAS Questions and Answers

  1. Because you have admitted a number of students through the EAS, how many places are available for our S.7 students in the current JUPAS exercise?

Excluding from all other channels, our 2011 JUPAS intake is 53.

  1. I notice that the HKCEE and HKALE grades of your intakes in the past few years are quite high. I am afraid my grades are not good enough to get admitted. What is your advice?

It is true that our intakes in the past few years had good grades on the average. But the HKALE grades of the last batch of students admitted were not impressive at all.

Last year we had 53 places for S.7 students through JUPAS. Yet we admitted 53 students into our programme (JUPAS).
In fact, we admitted almost all first-choice applicants in 2010. For details, please refer to the table at the bottom.

In your choice of programmes, we believe your genuine interest is important. On the other hand, your preparation for the subject of study is also important. For the study in physics (BSc), that means you should have a solid background knowledge in physics and not fear using mathematics in tackling problems.
