Scope:

The conference will provide a forum to discuss many recent development in quantum optics.  The topics would include quantum computing and teleportation, quantum entanglement, meta-materials, nonclassical properties of radiation, quantum interference, interaction between light and materials, etc.

Partial financial support may be available upon request.  The financial support application should be submitted to Prof. H. Q. Lin (hqlin@phy.cuhk.edu.hk) or S. Y. Zhu (syzhu@hkbu.edu.hk) by emails before September 30, 2005.  In the application, please give a resume with a brief description of published work.  Preference of consideration will be given to junior applicants.  Decisions will be made on a case by case basis.

 

Contributed Paper Submission:  All abstracts must be submitted before October 31, 2005.
