General Information
We have a minimal requirement of lab courses (4 units for Physics Stream and 3 units for Theoretical Physics Stream).
If you wish to pick up more experience in experimental physics and/or learn more experimental skill,
you may consider taking Special Experimental Projects.
Pass/Fail guideline:
A student will fail a lab course if he/she is
(a) absent in 3 lab sessions without compelling reason*, or
(b) unable to submit 4 lab reports.
For other cases, the teacher in charge of the course will decide pass/fail of a student.
* There should be 7 (afternoon) lab sessions for 1-unit lab course. Make-up labs can be arranged during the regular term time.
